The Adams Music Conservatory is Celebrating the International World Voice Day!

World Voice Day is an annual event devoted to the celebration of the phenomenon of voice. The aim is to demonstrate the enormous importance of the voice in our daily lives, as a tool of communication. It began in 1999 as a combined effort of American and European otolaryngologists as well as speech and language pathologists.       Now, the celebration of World Voice Day happens around the globe!

Our voice teacher- Mrs. Adams attended one-day workshop for teachers sponsored by The Voice Foundation. The event took place at the Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday April 20th, 2013. The workshop included:

~ “Anatomy and Physiology of the Voice” by Dr. Robert T. Sataloff

~ “The Care and Maintenance of the Teacher’s Voice” by speech pathologists – S. Fort and B. Rose

~ “Chiropractic Care for the Voice” by Dr. Ellery Panaia

~ “Relaxation and Support Exercises for the Voice” by Donna Snow
